TITLE Sales Office Logistics Manager
LOCATION Home Office, UK
  • Directly: Chief Financial Officer
  • Indirectly: Director, Sales & Support, EMEA)


OVERVIEW Responsible for:

  • Full end to end management of European and UK customer order process from order receipt through to final delivery and invoicing.
  • Management of European and UK inventory, ensuring SAPB1 accurately reflects physical stock levels, and adequate stock is on hand to meet customer demand.
  • Administrative support for EMEA sales team
  • Comply with GSL Quality Management System
  • Implementing change to improve the company systems and procedures


  • Answer and direct incoming calls, mail and emails in a professional & timely manner
  • Customer order fulfilment
  • Contract compliance
  • Maintaining warehouse inventory, including replenishment for Head Office as needed
  • Co-ordinate all inbound and outbound shipping for GSL in Europe
  • Invoicing and reconciliation
  • Local supplier liaison
  • Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and recommending process improvement
  • Regular weekly contact with Head office customer service personnel
  • 3 years’ experience in a customer care, contracts or logistics role
  • Strong Computer and MS Office skills
  • Previous experience working in ISO accredited company
  • Experience with SAP B1
  • Experience with International logistics
  • Experience in products / services for the worldwide healthcare / life sciences marketplace/s
  • Professional phone and reception manner
  • Self-starter – proactively identify administration requirements and put systems in place for on-going management
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
